Linh Vu has spent over two decades in professional golf coaching, building a reputation grounded in evidence, precision, and genuine care for each student's individual development. Based at Pure Performance Coaching Center in Hanoi — which he co-founded — Linh works with golfers from all levels and backgrounds: expats finding their footing on Vietnam's courses, competitive amateurs chasing single-digit handicaps, junior players dreaming of national team selection, and seasoned players who simply want to understand why they hit that shot the way they did.
His coaching philosophy rejects the one-size-fits-all model. Holding certifications from seven of the world's most respected golf instruction systems — including PGA Thailand, AimPoint, DECADE Course Management, The Stack, Wedge Matrix, PING Proving Grounds, and Dr. Kwon Biomechanics Level 2 — Linh draws from a wide palette of methodologies but applies them selectively. The starting point is always the individual: their body, their game patterns, their goals, and what the data actually says. "I don't teach a method — I diagnose and prescribe based on your body," is a principle he lives by in every session.
Beyond the coaching bay, Linh has shaped Vietnamese golf at an institutional level. As a national coach educator for the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA), he helped build the competency framework for a new generation of Vietnamese instructors. He also brought golf to a wider public audience as the host of a national television golf show — making the game accessible, relatable, and exciting for viewers across the country. Today, with over 1,000 students coached and a track record that includes work with the Vietnam National Golf Team, Linh continues to push the standard of coaching in Southeast Asia.
