PING Club Fitting

The right equipment for your actual swing — not the swing you're supposed to have.

An Important Distinction

Fitting Is Not Coaching. That's the Point.

A coach works to change your swing. A fitter works with your swing — as it is right now — to find the equipment that performs best for it. These are fundamentally different services, and keeping them separate is what makes both better.

As a PING Proving Grounds certified fitter, Linh's club fitting sessions are completely independent of coaching. Whether you have lessons with Linh or not, whether you have a Tour-quality swing or a weekend hacker's — the fitting process is the same: objective data, no agenda, right equipment for your game.

Coaching

Changes your swing to improve ball striking and scoring

Fitting

Finds equipment optimised for your current swing — whatever it is

Together

Combine coaching and fitting for maximum performance — equipment that supports your improving technique

The Fitting Process

Data-Driven. Player-Centred.

Every fitting begins with understanding your game, your goals, and your current equipment — then letting the data guide the recommendation.

1

Pre-Fitting Interview

Understanding your game, what you want to achieve, what you feel is wrong with your current clubs, and your budget. No assumptions.

2

On-Range Assessment

Hitting balls with your current clubs. Tracking ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, carry distance, and shot dispersion to establish your baseline.

3

Equipment Testing

Testing shaft options, head configurations, loft, lie angle, length, and grip combinations — until the data shows a clear improvement in performance metrics.

4

Written Recommendation Report

A full written report detailing the recommended specifications with the data that supports each decision. Yours to keep — no obligation to purchase.

What We Fit

Driver & Woods

Loft, face angle, shaft weight, flex, and tip stiffness optimised for maximum distance and accuracy off the tee.

Irons

Shaft, lie angle, length, loft, and head design for consistent distance gapping and shot control across the set.

Wedges

Loft gapping, bounce angle, sole grind, and shaft — ensuring your wedges complement your short game technique.

Putter

Length, lie, loft, weight, and head style matched to your putting stroke and eye position for better roll.

Grips

Size, texture, and material matched to hand size and grip pressure — often the most overlooked spec in a set.

Set Assessment

Review your existing set for inconsistencies — mixed specs, wrong lies, unmatched shafts — and recommendations to fix without full replacement.
