What is The Stack®?

The Stack is an overspeed training system built on decades of motor learning research. Using a set of proprietary weighted clubs in a structured progressive protocol, it trains your nervous system to produce higher swing speeds — a phenomenon known as neural adaptation. Unlike simply swinging harder, overspeed training recalibrates your speed ceiling at a neurological level, delivering real, sustained gains that hold over time.

The Stack is used by Tour professionals worldwide and is backed by peer-reviewed research on motor learning and speed development. It is not a gimmick — it is a training protocol that works consistently when followed correctly. The average participant gains 5–8 mph of club head speed in 8 weeks, translating to 15–20 yards of real carry distance.

As a certified Stack instructor based in Hanoi, Linh guides participants through the full programme — from baseline assessment through progressive protocol to final speed testing — ensuring the gains are genuine and sustainable.

Key Benefits

What you gain

  • ✓
Real, sustained distance gains — averaging 15–20 yards carry with driver. Gains persist because they're neurological, not mechanical.
  • ✓
Safe progressive protocol — gradual load progression protects you from injury while maximising adaptation. Each week builds on the last.
  • ✓
Works at any age — motor learning research confirms speed can be developed in golfers of all ages. You are not too old to get faster.
  • ✓
Measurable results — speed is tracked before, during, and after the programme with a radar device. You see exactly how much faster you've become.
  • ✓
Compounds with fitting — distance gains from The Stack are amplified when combined with a properly fitted driver. Both work together.

Who should do speed training?

The golfer losing distance with age

Distance loss with age is not inevitable — it's largely a product of declining neuromuscular speed production. The Stack directly targets this decline and reverses it. Many golfers in their 50s and 60s reclaim 20+ yards in a single programme.

The player wanting more yards

You already hit it reasonably far but know more distance would open up par-5s, take hazards out of play, and reduce the length of approach shots. The Stack gives you real, lasting distance — not just better launch conditions.

The competitive golfer optimising everything

You're already working on every other dimension of your game and know distance is a competitive advantage at club level. The Stack is a standard tool among serious amateur players who want to be the longest in their group.

The Programme

What to expect

The Stack is a structured 8-week minimum programme. Linh guides you through every stage.

1

Initial Speed Baseline Assessment

We establish your starting swing speed with driver, 7-iron, and Speed Stick measurements. This baseline is your reference point for measuring progress throughout the programme. Linh also assesses your current swing patterns for any technical elements that may be limiting speed.

2

Personalised Protocol Design

Based on your baseline and schedule, Linh designs a personalised 8-week Stack protocol. Training frequency, weight sequences, and session structure are calibrated to your starting point and availability. The programme is progressive — it gets appropriately harder each week.

3

Weekly Check-ins & Speed Monitoring

Regular check-in sessions with Linh (in-person or remote) to verify technique, track speed gains, and adjust the protocol if needed. Linh monitors your progress and troubleshoots any plateau phases. Speed data is recorded at each session.

4

Final Assessment & Ongoing Programme

At week 8, a full speed re-test documents your gains against baseline. Most participants continue training beyond 8 weeks — maintenance protocols and progressive continuation programmes are available. Speed development, like fitness, is an ongoing process.
