Common Questions

Everything you might want to know before reaching out.

Yes — Linh is fully fluent in English and coaches comfortably in both English and Vietnamese. All written materials, session notes, and video analysis are available in your preferred language.

Many of Linh's students are expats based in Hanoi, and English is used as the default language in those sessions. If you prefer Vietnamese, that's equally welcome.

Yes. Remote video analysis sessions are available for golfers who are not based in Hanoi or are temporarily away. You record your swing, upload the footage, and Linh sends back a detailed annotated video with drills and priorities.

Remote sessions work particularly well as a between-visit check-in for existing students, or as a way to get a first assessment before planning a visit to Hanoi.

Pure Performance Coaching Center is located in Hanoi, Vietnam. The exact address and directions are provided once a session is confirmed — reach out via any of the contact channels above and Linh will send full details.

The facility is equipped with launch monitor technology, video analysis systems, a dedicated short game practice area, and a putting lab. Accessible by car and taxi from central Hanoi.

Absolutely. A single introductory session is the ideal starting point — Linh will assess your swing, discuss your goals, and recommend the most appropriate programme. There's no commitment to a longer package at that stage.

Contact via any channel above to arrange your first session. If you're unsure what to book, select "Not sure — please advise" in the enquiry form and Linh will guide you from there.

Linh holds 7 internationally recognised certifications — more than any other golf coach in Vietnam. These span every dimension of the game: green reading (AimPoint), course strategy (DECADE), swing speed (The Stack), short game (Wedge Matrix), biomechanics (Dr. Kwon), equipment (PING Proving Grounds), and professional membership (PGA Thailand).

The approach is individual-first: Linh diagnoses each student's physical structure, movement patterns, and game tendencies before designing a programme. He does not impose a one-size-fits-all method — every student receives a prescription built for their body and their goals.

Yes — Linh Vu is one of very few AimPoint Authorized Instructors in Vietnam. AimPoint is the green reading system used by hundreds of PGA and LPGA Tour players, developed by AimPoint Technologies. Linh teaches both AimPoint Express (feel-based slope calibration) and AimPoint Touch.

AimPoint clinics are available as half-day group sessions and as private 2-hour lessons at Pure Performance Coaching Center in Hanoi. See the AimPoint programme page for details and upcoming clinic dates.

Pricing varies by programme and format. Group clinics (such as AimPoint and DECADE workshops) start from 2,000,000 VND per person. Private coaching sessions are priced individually based on duration and programme. PING club fitting is a separate service.

For current pricing and package options, reach out via the contact form or email coach@linhvu.golf. Linh can recommend the most cost-effective entry point based on your goals.

Linh has worked with Vietnam National Golf Team members over the course of his coaching career. He was also appointed as a National Coach Educator by the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA), helping to develop coaching standards across Vietnam.

His student base spans all levels — from complete beginners through to single-handicap amateur competitors and national players.
