What is DECADE®?
DECADE is a data-driven course management system developed by PGA Tour caddie and analytics specialist Scott Fawcett. It uses statistics and probability — not hunches — to determine the optimal target for every shot on the course. The result is dramatically lower scores without a single swing change.
The core insight of DECADE is that most amateur golfers aim at pins far too often, and at the wrong targets when they don't. By understanding your own shot dispersion patterns and applying probability maps to each hole, you consistently put yourself in better positions — and avoid the costly mistakes that blow up scorecards.

DECADE instruction begins with data collection and ends with an on-course playing session where the strategy is put into real practice.
Stats Collection & Analysis
You bring recent round data, or Linh collects it during a range session. We map your actual carry distances, shot dispersions, and patterns with each club. Most golfers are surprised by what they see — distance overestimation is near-universal.
Shot Dispersion Mapping
Using DECADE's dispersion models alongside your personal stats, we build a picture of where your shots actually go — not where you intend them to go. This becomes your personalised targeting reference for every situation on the course.
Target-Selection Framework
You learn the DECADE target-selection principles: how to evaluate pin positions, how to apply miss-it-here thinking, and how to build a pre-shot process that makes the smart play feel natural rather than timid.
On-Course Strategy Session
Walk 9 holes with Linh and apply your personalised DECADE strategy in real time. Linh guides target decisions, helps you build the habit of thinking in dispersions rather than intentions, and reinforces the key principles under playing conditions.
